This section is dedicated to the golf tee history, every avid golfer will have the opportunity to enjoy the evolution of the golf tee.
Over the years, the golf tees were made from various materials such as sand, rubber, plastic, metal, zinc, aluminium, brass, bronze, silver, wood, leather, paper and celluloid. All those inventors had only one goal in mine, to improve the game of golf.
The first golf tee patent was presented on august 16, 1889 and accepted on june 14, 1890 (patent #12,941) by W. Bloxsom and A. Douglas from Scotland.
The first american tee patent was presented by
Mr. Prosper L. Senat from Philadelphia (patent #570821) on december 16, 1895. It was made of paper or cardboard with a circular shape.

Le premier brevet américain a été présenté le 16 décembre 1895 (brevet #570821) par Mr. Prosper L. Senat de Philadelphie. Le tee était fabriqué de papier ou de carton et avait une forme ciculaire.
